Testimonials.

My daughters have been attending Family Tree and we've seen a huge change in their confidence. Since attending, they're less fearful and more willing to join physical activities with friends. The classes aren't extremely big, so each kid gets attention from the coaches — and coach Clarissa is so great about addressing each child by name. A great, inclusive place to learn.

Frequently asked

Questions, answered.

Is Jiu-Jitsu safe?

Yes. Training is controlled, supervised, and focuses on safety, respect, and proper technique.

What should I wear to my first class?

Come in comfortable athletic clothing that allows full movement, preferably dri-fit material. Please avoid zippers, buttons, or jewelry. We also suggest bringing sandals or slip-on shoes for easier transition on and off the mats.

Do I need any experience to start?

No. Beginners are welcome, and classes are designed for all levels.

How long until I see results?

Most members notice improvements in fitness, focus, and confidence within the first 4 – 6 weeks. Technical skill compounds quickly with consistency — two to three classes per week is the sweet spot.
